Pre-requisites

You should have a working knowledge of SIMS.

Course Content

Introduction using the New Functionality guide – date ranges of snapshot data as well as historical for preceding periods, deadline dates and changes to this census.  Different ranges of data are collected in each of the three censuses, but the procedure is broadly the same. By the end of the course you will be able to start a census return, understand what data is being collected for that return, create and validate it, correct any validation errors by editing individual pupil records or by using bulk update. Check the detailed reports and Summary and authorise the return.
